THE SIDELINERS LINE AND PARTNER DANCE CLUB

Based in and around Oxfordshire, we run five classes a week from beginners to high intermediates.
I started dancing at a local class, over 14 years ago, and that was it I was hooked!!
After a while I started filling in when the regular instructor went off on holidays, I soon realised that I enjoyed teaching, even though at the start I was terrified! ,so it didn't seem such a big step to take over his two classes when he started to lose interest. As the confidence grew more classes were added .Plus our fairly new Partner class, which is alot of fun, as we all get tangled working out the turns!.
Jo has been dancing for about 8 years. Anything technical, she can work it or fix it! as well as helping out in class providing feet for the novices to follow. Jo is our web master, so if you have any questions she is the one to ask!.
As a club for the last few years we have been going on a Line Dance weekends together. It really is good fun when we all go, and hopefully more and more of the club
members will start coming with us .
Last year we organised our very own Sideliners Weekend in Torquay. We had the lovely Kim Ray and two fantastic line dance bands, Magill & Calico.

We had about 98 attend, with night and day passes as well. It was a fantastic weekend and everyone enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank our friends (Photo on the right) for all their support,help and friendship. Cheers guys!!

We try to run as many fun socials as we can, the demo night has been going few years now and this year is going to be the last one, VERY SAD!! We've also started this year running our own workshop days, checkout our next one here.
At Christmas time we hire our local hotel and hold our very own Christmas dinner dance for all our dancers. To say thanks for your support.
We would like to say thank you to the small army of helpers, you know who you are, that are always ready to help whenever they can.
Finally, a big thank you, to all our various classes, We hope you enjoy your dance nights as much as we do. You really are the greatest bunch of Line Dancers around.
